Our Leaders

Dawnamaria A. Minor is the Artistic Director for the organization and is also the daughter of the late Marguerita Austin.  She is a professional community opera singer in her community.  She has been seen in commercials, film work and in historical reenactment documentations.  She continues to keep her mother’s legacy alive, along with her 100 original plays which include monologues, skits, and poems presented and ministered to the public.

Toney Cobb is the Director and Acting Coach for the organization.  He has been acting for more than 20 years with the Richmond Community Theatre Guild, and since that time has evolved into a professional actor with numerous performance and directing credits.  He credits all of his achievements to Mrs. Austin, Dawn and the rest of the Guild.

Marsha Meekins Cheatham is a professional flutist with over 32 years as a guest artist in various church services, weddings, concerts, funerals, benefits, etc.  She has also formed, managed, and played with several jazz, reggae, and concert bands throughout Virginia.  She is one of the original members of the Guild and is the Music Director for the company.

Sherelle Beckham is an exceptional improvisationalist and character actress.  She also writes and directs theatre performances at Fifth Street Baptist Church in Richmond, VA.  She also serves as the Guild’s Executive Director and Business Manager.

Reid Carter has acted with the Guild in a variety of character roles and is a background artist.  He also has worked on film and television projects.  He serves as the Guild’s photographer and videographer.
